Student placements/Internships are optional, but are considered an integral part of the course. They typically take place in the third Year of studies during summertime and last three (3) months (June, July and August). All students are encouraged to undertake relevant work experience, but priority is mainly given to students under graduation.
Students are advised to apply to the Administration Office of the Department for a placement, after a prior agreement between the Department and companies/organisations, clearly defining the terms of employment and work responsibilities during the internship. Once applications have been examined by the Internship Placement Coordinator and by competent Teaching Staff, applicants are placed for work.
